Reporting into the Planning Manager, the role of Planning Administrator is an essential role to the businesses and effectively acts as linchpin, heavily supporting planning, customer service, stock and distribution.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
-Planning, monitoring and communicating incoming order requirements
-Assisting the planning manager on a daily basis with all duties relating to control of raw materials and production planning
-Ensuring sufficient materials and capacity to meet orders
-Plan and prepare production schedules
-Production and materials shortage reports
-Close liaison with distribution and customer service ensuring raw material is fully expedited
-Ensure sales orders are raised correctly
-Liaise with despatch planning to ensure material is ready and on time for shipment
Key Skills Required
-At least one year of experience in a similar role
-Experience in a manufacturing setting
-Good understanding of ERP/MRP systems
