The Company

Our client provides a range of tax, accountancy and business services that suit the diverse needs of businesses and individuals across the Southwest. The Company's Partners are all experienced in assisting family-run businesses and have an exceptionally strong personal tax team. Our client's goal is to make the process of managing accounts and tax liabilities straightforward for businesses of all sizes. An opportunity has arisen to join the Tax Team as a Personal Tax Manager.

The Role

The role holder will manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, provide tax consultancy advice, and oversee the tax compliance requirements of the department. The role encompasses Tax Consultancy and Tax Compliance.

Essential Skills and Requirements

Previous experience in a tax compliance role at a Senior or Manager Level

CTA qualified (or equivalent)

Excellent up to date technical knowledge

Be fully aware and conversant with compliance standards imposed by the various regulatory authorities for tax and audit

Commercially astute, with keen analytical and problem-solving mind

Organised and able to plan time efficiently to meet deadlines

Ability to work independently, or as part of a team

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly with clients

Professional and discreet in demonstrating client care

Proficient in MS Office 2010 (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook)
