Performance and Reporting Analyst - Asset Management

The hiring Company is a leading name in their specific market and have been expanding at a steady pace over many years, supported by strong fund performance and an ongoing significant increase in AUM.
Ensure reconciliations are successfully completed and troubleshoot any discrepancies.
Work with internal/external stakeholders to ensure issues are being appropriately reviewed and progressing to completion.
Develop expertise around team control mechanisms and reporting
Actively participate in all team meetings including review of key risk and process indicators.
Understand and adhere to all regulatory requirements impacting the reconciliation process.
Ability to evaluate systems, procedures and make recommendations for improvement.
Accurately record metrics related to responsibilities.
Have a thorough understanding of the underlying structure (source of data, calculation basis, timing of updates etc.) of all reports produced, and the ability to explain this to users of the reports.
Ownership of the client reporting calendar/checklist, management of client deadlines, and production of monthly reporting cycle stats.
Investigate any errors with underlying data in a timely manner, and liaise with Operations, Performance & Reporting and FactSet/Bloomberg where appropriate.
Assist in the coordination of Client Change Management activities on all New/Client transition change events.
QUALIFICATIONS PROFESSIONAL / EDUCATIONAL
Around 2+ years or more of relevant experience, including direct buy side experience of supporting institutional and/or wholesale client relationships.
Demonstrate an understanding of Investment products and Fund Structures in addition to being familiar with other classes such as Equities and Fixed Income.
Have a strong academic background, preferably degree educated, with the IOC, CIPM or IMC certificate or a willingness to pursue a relevant qualification.
Strong experience of Bloomberg/FactSet.
Good understanding of Excel : intermediate level.
Familiarity with using CRM systems.
