JOB TITLE: Pensions Administrator 

SALARY & BENEFITS: Negotiable depending on experience + excellent benefits

WORKING HOURS: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

THE COMPANY: Our client is a well-established independent company based in Ampthill, Bedfordshire who specialise in the provision of self administered pension schemes. They offer professional administration and technical support through SIPP and SSAS products. Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pensions Administrator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

THE ROLE: As a Pensions Administrator you will be required to answer incoming calls into the business, complete general office sundries, filing and administration duties. Experience working in pension administration is essential alongside good communication, organisational and IT skills, and the ability to work well within a team. 

Key Responsibilities for the Pensions Administrator role:- 
• Completing administration on SIPP and SSAS 
• Calculating and paying pensions
• Dealing with queries via telephone and email
• Keeping the database up to date
• Preparing quotations and relevant documentation 
• Processing new business 
• Completing HMRC reporting

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Pensions Administrator based in Ampthill, Bedford will be highly organised with the ability to work under your own initiative. You will be a driven individual who is capable of demonstrating strong written and verbal skills. You will be computer literate and possess a professional telephone manner.

Key skills and experience for the Pensions Administrator role:- 
• Previous experience as a Pensions Administrator 
• The ability to organise your work load efficiently is required 
• Competent in the use of computers 
• GCSE C or above in English and Maths
