Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 p.a. dependant on qualifications and experience

The Company

Our client is a small yet very successful accountancy firm, offering the level of service and expertise of a large organisation with the approachability and personal involvement of a small firm.

The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Manager to work within a professional team, processing monthly payrolls and providing payroll support for a varied client base. The role will involve direct client contact as well as working closely with the Partners to ensure an excellent service and experience.

Role Responsibilities:

• Processing payroll from start to finish for a portfolio of clients.
• Direct client contact in order to obtain monthly information.
• Processing SSP, SMP, SAP, SPP and salary sacrifice when required.
• RTI submissions and processing end of year forms.
• Sending BACs payments.
• Assisting with payroll set up and PAYE registration.


Essential Skills & Requirements:

• Experience of working in an accountancy practice within the payroll department.
• Experience using Star payroll is an advantage but not a necessity.
• Reliable, organised and able to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
