Are you looking for an opportunity to manage the payroll department for an accountancy practice? If you are looking to further your qualifications, then this employer is happy to consider supporting this.

This company is a well established firm supporting medical professionals in the healthcare sector. You would be joining a friendly, growing, well-respected niche firm.

Part-time considered for the right applicant.

Role
- Managing and completing monthly payrolls for clients (which span from single director companies to GP practices with 50+ staff). Involves liaising with client, completing payroll using Sage payroll, providing relevant documents to the client and submitting as necessary under RPI
- Looking to expand the number of payroll clients the firms acts for and discussing services with potential clients
- Developing the firm's internal procedures for this department
- Managing one or more staff as the client list expands
- Preparation of P11ds
- Also some ad-hoc duties assisting the Practice Manager

Experience and qualifications
- GCSEs at B/6 or above in Maths and English
- Recent payroll experience
- To be comfortable with the Microsoft suite, including excel
- Team player
- Excellent organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and make decisions
- Experience in accountancy practice desirable
