The Role

Are you a Payroll Administrator, looking for a unique and progressive opportunity?
Our client a leading independent chartered accountants based in the Midlands is seeking a Payroll Administrator to be based in their Northampton Town Centre office.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for processing end to end payrolls for their clients’ variable payroll periods.

Requirements

You will have experience of accurately calculating and processing payrolls on clients’ specific requirements as well as being able to provide clients with all required reports adhering to deadlines.
You will also be able to provide advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of PAYE and be able to keep up to date with changes in payroll related legislation.

Key Skills

A minimum of 3 years’ experience within payroll preferably with a client based service provider
Detailed knowledge of good practice payroll processing and procedures
Up to date knowledge of PAYE legislation
Understanding of Auto Enrolment and salary sacrifice schemes
Ability to use payroll software and Sage 50 payroll
Numerate with good communication skills
