Payroll Administrator - Maidstone Kent

Salary - £25,000 Salary negotiable and dependant on experience
Hours 9am -5pm Monday to Friday

The Company

Our client provides proactive business advice and support to both individuals and companies throughout the South east.

Following a period of sustained growth, they have an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their accountancy practice in their Maidstone office.

The Role

The Payroll Administrator will manage a portfolio of clients in monthly, weekly and fortnightly payrolls.
The ideal candidate MUST have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within payroll preferably with a client based service provider

Experience Required:

Processing payroll’s from client’s information
Dealing with tax code changes/starters/leavers
Dealing with Fax Pay submissions as well as online banking
Managing own portfolio of payrolls
Experience in CIS return processing
Experience in auto-enrolment sign up process as well as ongoing compliance
Experience in dealing with employer and employee queries
Experience of Sage Payroll and Moneysoft would be beneficial

Key Skills

A minimum of 3 years’ experience within payroll preferably with a client based service provider
Detailed knowledge of good practice payroll processing and procedures
Up to date knowledge of PAYE legislation
Understanding of Auto Enrolment and salary sacrifice schemes
Ability to use payroll software and Sage or/and Moneysoft
Numerate with good communication skills
