Urgent requirement for an experienced Payroll Administrator for a family run business in Stockport. This is a permanent job in which you will have the opportunity to study for your CIPP.
As the Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for the following:
* Accurate and timely processing of a payroll of 1000 employees across weekly, monthly and 4-weekly payrolls
* Collating, calculating and processing monthly payroll adjustments, statutory payments and other required amendments
* Processes new starters and leavers
* Allocation of tax codes
* Answering payroll queries from members of staff
To be successful in this role you will need to have had at least two years continuous payroll experience and be up to date on legislation as it relates to payroll such as tax, NI and maternity pay. You will be a team player, customer focused and able to solve payroll queries as they arise. A working knowledge SD Worx an advantage thought not essential.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of between £18000 - £23000 per annum.
