An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an employee-focused, industry-leading business based in Leeds as they look to appoint a Part-Time Finance Assistant on a permanent basis!

They are looking to appoint a highly capable, confident and knowledgeable Finance Assistant to support across a wide range of tasks including Sales Ledger and Credit Control to help in the efficient running of the finance department. The successful candidate will ideally be able to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday around 7.5 hours per day, initially home based.

Duties of the Finance Assistant will include, but are not limited to:

- Liaising with sales admin to produce accurate customer invoicing for a high volume of customers
- Creating & monitoring of customer contracts to ensure details are up to date
- Raising credit notes and re-invoicing where necessary
- Monitoring credit control and accounts e mail inboxes and responding to queries raised
- Helping with the running of monthly direct debit collections and dealing with subsequent issues
- Helping with customer debt collection - liaising with credit control and identifying areas of concern
- Other ad hoc tasks as directed by your line manager

Person specification:

- At least 2 years worth of experience within an Accounts environment
- Ability to work efficiently in demanding environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT knowledge, including Microsoft Excel
- Happy to work 3 days a week
