This employer an independent charity culturally sensitive to the needs of the Jewish community, provides outplacement support (including advice, seminars, training and facilities) to help work-ready unemployed people, eligible to work in the UK, back into employment. They are based on two sites in Finchley, North London, however all staff are currently working from home to comply with government guidelines.

They are a small, family-friendly, hard-working and professional team of staff who work closely with volunteers to deliver the best possible service for their clients at all times.

The part-time administrator role is extremely varied and will suit someone who's highly tech-savvy, with a particular love of problem-solving and using lots of initiative!

Your role will be to help us with the smooth running of their busy office, and includes communication with clients and volunteers, creating spreadsheets, manipulating databases and updating websites.

Your excellent IT skills will help them to create more efficient ways of working, and above all you'll be a great team-player.

Finally, familiarity with the Jewish community and culture is a definite plus.

Required skills
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Office 365
- Comfortable manipulating databases, creating and customising reports
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with a diverse range of contacts
- Ability to deal empathetically with a wide range of people
- Innovative, with ability to develop and implement creative ways of working
- Self-motivated, able to prioritise, manage own workload, use own initiative to meet deadlines in a busy and pressurised office environment
- Familiarity with the Jewish community and culture

£20,000 full time equivalent (pro-rated to 19 hours per week)

Car parking provided

The office is in Finchley Central (very close to northern line tube station)

The role will be initially be remote (ie from home) until the office re-opens (hopefully by Summer 2021).

The part time role is 19 hours per week, to be spread as follows:
- Tuesdays 8.45am to 5pm (7.25 hours)
- Wednesdays 8.45am to 5pm (7.25 hours)
- Fridays 8.45am to 1.15pm (4.5 hours)
