We are looking for a Paraplanner to join our clients Paraplanning Team at their Head Office. The position will be suitable to someone who has a background in Paraplanning. You will be part of our Paraplanning Department based in Stokenchurch supporting our highly qualified team of IFA’s and responsible for delivering high quality reports. There is potential to progress into an IFA role for the right individual and if this is your desired career path. Our client are well known for offering the opportunity to progress and having the quality mentors available to help develop those that desire it. We are however more than open to the idea of a career Paraplanner, which in turn offers its own rewards.
To be successful in this Paraplanning role, you will need to be a good communicator and have an excellent working knowledge of the financial services industry.
You will have good report writing skills with the ability to conduct research in connection with protection, investment and pre/post retirement planning.
You should have experience in supporting advisers with a range of tasks, including correspondence with product providers and clients, researching products and writing suitability reports, as well as providing support to other members of a paraplanning team.
You will also be a good communicator and have a working knowledge of the financial services industry across the full range of investments, pensions, retirement solutions, trusts and both personal and business protection.
You will be computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office.
You should be at or well on the way towards Level 4 diploma status.
Any targets to progress beyond this will be fully supported by the company.
