12 Month Fixed Term Contract, 20 hours per week

Our client is a not-for-profit housing association dedicated to offering quality homes for independent living. Their vision is simple, it is focused on “Living Longer, Living Better”. They want to help their residents age well, live independently and maintain their quality of life for as long as possible.

It’s an exciting time to join them as they move forward towards achieving their aim of becoming the 'Market Maker' in Independent Living. They embrace a ‘One Team’ ethos and employ people who are pioneering and who strive to be outstanding in their role. In return, they empower them to be the very best that they can be. As a result, they can continue to ensure their customers remain at the very heart of everything they do.

Joining them as PA / Executive Assistant, you will hold a key role in the management of the business through pro-active and efficient support to the Chief Executive. Acting as their right-hand person, you will be the face of the Chief Executive’s office and act as the first point of contact for all queries.

Planning and organising meetings for the Chief Executive and Executive team, you will manage a complex diary for a dynamic Chief Executive.  You will ensure effective diary management, oversee travel arrangements and itineraries and liaise with 3rd parties as required. Collating, proof-reading and drafting reports as required, you will attend and take minutes at meetings and manage invoices, expenses reconciliation and support budget management. Collating expenses and reconciling credit card expenses, you will maintain the smooth running of the office and office systems.

Equally, you will underpin and support Governance and Executive team activity; obtaining and providing key management information and data, and producing performance measures for the Executive team. You will undertake research for the Chief Executive related to business planning, performance and operational activities and prepare reports, responses, presentations and statistical information as required.

This role demands a meticulous and highly organised individual who has significant experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably providing support at Chief Executive level. Your experience will include minute taking, writing reports, briefings and presentations as well as successfully working with and supporting Directors, Senior Managers and Boards.

Those who have experience of Governance arrangements within a Housing Association are highly desirable, however this is not essential.

The hours of work will ideally be Monday to Friday, 08:30 until 12:30 however they can be flexible for the right candidate.

There are a number of reasons why you should join them – they can offer you a work and home life balance, development opportunities and a great number of benefits including childcare vouchers, free parking, pension scheme, life assurance, an Employee Assistance Programme, Simplyhealth cash plan and free refreshments!

Closing Date: Wednesday 25th October 2017
