Operations Coordinator/Office Manager - London

Salary: 28k - 30k D.O.E

The Company

Our client are leading suppliers and installers of bexpoke water re-use solutions that allow an integrated water management approach to be realised either on a development or catchment scale.

With offices in London and in Bordeaux, France our client have designed and installed commercial water re-use systems within some of the most prestigious buildings in the UK and Internationally including the Shard, Bloomberg headquarters, The Westfield Shopping Centre in London, and the Bordeaux Football Stadium in France

The Role

The following list highlights the main day to day duties required of this role. The list is not exhaustive and, as a small company, you will be required to fulfil other duties, on occasion, that will assist in the running of the smooth operation of the company.

The role requires a degree of product knowledge. You should endeavour to learn as much as possible to assist in your daily activities and take every opportunity to learn from colleagues or ask for informative assistance when required.

Key elements of the position;

Project handover meetings

Preparing purchase orders on SAGE

Importing products from Germany to the UK

Organising product deliveries to site

Preparing invoices on SAGE

Arranging site installations

Liaising with sub-contractors

Planning and preparing engineer's weekly planners

Keep CRM system up to date with new projects (ACT)

Management of our warehouse, including receipt of deliveries

Management and organisation of warehouse stock

Management of off-site warehouse facility (Verran Freight)

Working closely with the Operations Director

Deputising in the absence of the Operations Director

Ad hoc duties where required

Above all, the role requires a forward thinking, customer focused and commercially driven attitude that ensures our customer's deliveries are on time and on budget.

Essential Requirements

Looking for an Operations Manager ideally with logistics, warehousing and a financial background.

Experience with SAGE 50 and some form of supervisory qualifications or experience.
