Our Client is one of the UK’s leading on-site and off-site shredding companies, providing confidential document and data shredding services throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.

They have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Administrator to join their team where you will work 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday. This will based at their depot in Gateshead.

Within the role you will carry out all branch administration necessary. With an emphasis on first class customer service, you will ensure that all enquiries are dealt with quickly and accurately, and all daily and weekly tasks are completed within the relevant time scales.

Inputting incoming orders and contracts into the relevant computer system, you will liaise with the Depot Manager regarding planning, adding in additional customer visit requests to existing routes to maximise efficiency. Completing company paperwork, you will assist with vehicle management, including vehicle daily defect sheets, checking and filing tachographs and recording fuel receipts.

They are looking for someone who has good communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as an excellent telephone manner. With previous experience in a fast paced customer focused environment, you will be highly competent in standard software packages and be able to prioritise your own workload. The ability to work using your own initiative is key, as is being able to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
