Due to expansion, they are seeking a Operations Admin Assistant to join their team.

The successful applicant will be required to contribute to the efficient running of the Production Planning and Purchasing Department. Support the team in the day-to-day admin tasks, maintain production records, identifying and reporting any issues, Assist Purchasing Department with raising of PO's, expediting material, and building relationships with key suppliers. To take ownership of all import declarations and keep any relating records up to date. To Liaise with the Commercial Ops Team and provide support where necessary.

KEY DUTIES
- Daily updates and maintenance of all Production Planning Records
- Monitor stock levels, source and procure all internal consumable requirements. E.g: stationary, packaging
- Progress chase and expedite materials from suppliers, ensuring goods are delivered in a timely manner
- Input all import declarations, liaise with the import agent and monitor and maintain documents in relation to any imports
- Display effective communication within the Manufacturing Team and proactively liaise with Commercial operations and all internal stakeholders to maximise customer satisfaction
- Monitor, maintain and update the internal databases
- Assist with raising of purchase orders and works orders as required and ensure goods are received in a timely manner
- Assist with Supplier performance reviews to identify supplier failures rates and recognise areas for improvement

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Assistant Certificate/Diploma, a relevant qualification or qualified by experience
- Previous experience of working in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- A willingness to learn
- Excellent level of using Microsoft office packages
- Demonstrate data analytic and problem-solving skills

The successful applicant will be required to work 08.45-17.00 Monday-Thursday and 8.45am-15.45 Friday (30 min lunch)

They offer a salary £18,000-£20,000 per annum (depending on experience)
