Job Title: Office Manager

Location: Surbiton, London

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 - D.O.E

Job type: Full time

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 - 16:30 or 9:00 - 17:00

We are looking for a highly competent full-time Office Manager to cover a Maternity post for up to 12 months. The role is temporary.

The role and responsibilities include day-to-day running of our busy office in Surbiton, Surrey whilst also covering aspects of Health & Safety, Human Resources, Marketing, Contract procurement as well as being responsible for securing a number of Industry Accreditations i.e. Fors, Safecontractor & Bali.

The Candidate:

  • Highly adaptable and able to work under pressurised situations
  • Excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
  • Great team player
  • Can prioritise tasks
  • Must embrace change
  • Must be proactive rather than reactive and show initiative
  • Ability to build positive working relations with customers, suppliers and colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills - with the ability to adapt their style and language (verbal and written) to suit the customer, department, or level that they are dealing with

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receptionist duties
  • Manage Head Office facilities
  • Vehicle Fleet management
  • Organise company events
  • PA to CEO
  • Procurement of Annual Contracts with Financial Controller - Utilities, IT, Phone, Insurance
  • Assist with completing Pre-qualifications Questionnaires

HR Duties:

  • Place staff vacancies advertisements
  • Organise New Starter Inductions
  • Arrange Employee Contracts
  • Upkeep of Personnel Records
  • Minutes of meetings

H&S Duties:

  • Implement & Maintain H&S Portal
  • Review H&S Policies
  • Book Training Courses
  • Manage allocation of PPE

Accreditation:

  • Bali, Safecontractor & Fors

Marketing:

  • Entering Sales enquiries into company CRM portal
