About the role:

To provide a professional administrative support service to assist in the smooth running of the People function, including facilities related activities

The Challenge Ahead:

The People, Culture & Values Department is responsible for providing a transparent, open and supportive environment for all our clients people, through a comprehensive People Strategy and Plan which strengthens the business’s core values and culture in alignment with the corporate objectives, ambitions and goals.


- Providing office support to the Department and the wider business
- Supporting the People, Culture & Values Team in a variety of admin tasks relating to the smooth running of the people function
- Greeting visitors to the premises, presenting a professional image of our client at all times
- Responding to internal and external telephone calls in line with our clients standards, dealing with queries in a customer centric manner
- Collecting, sorting, distributing and franking post on a daily basis
- Ordering supplies and equipment from preferred suppliers and ensure tidiness of stationery cupboard
- Booking travel and accommodation for colleagues
- Arranging meetings and booking rooms, refreshments and car park spaces as required • Updating internal systems and keeping accurate records
- Carrying out various administrative tasks including filing, sending and responding to emails, typing of documents and data input
- Ensuring that the standards of the office space is maintained at all times
- Completing various HR administrative tasks including those relating to file management recruitment, onboarding and L&D
- Ensuring all personnel files are accurate and up to date
- Updating the HR software as required
- Assisting in the planning of small and large company events
- Making external bookings for events and training courses
- Communicating with internal and external contacts in a professional and customer centric manner
- Coordinating HR wellbeing and engagement activities including fruit at work
- Completing ad hoc tasks as requested

About you:

- 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C in English & Mathematics).
- A Levels or BTEC.
- Professional approach to work Responsible and mature attitude Attention to detail
- Organised and able to meet deadlines
- Positive attitude to work
- Team player
- Excellent communicator with active listening skills
- Reliable and excellent work ethic
- Competent in the use of MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Previous work experience in an office based role
- Desire to develop knowledge and skills within a growing and dynamic business
- Ability to work in line with Core Values of pride, integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and enjoyment
