Job description

 

New Business Sales Executive & Lead Generation Advisor for an established Software Solutions company based in north Birmingham. The company specialise in Software solutions(Partner, bespoke and tailored), Training, Support and Consultancy.

This is an excellent opportunity with the role offering variety throughout the sales cycle and business in general. Generating new business from mailshots, existing lists and prospecting in a challenging environment during this exciting growth period. You will look to offer software, support and training amongst other products and services.

 

Duties include;

 

 

              Call customers from a variety of data lists as well as creating your own leads

              • Identify sales opportunities

              • Close deals or pass over qualified leads to a consultant to close

              • Prospect for new business – lead generation

              • Work specific targeted campaigns to close deals

              • Book and provide business scoping services to customers

 

 

Job Requirements;

 

              Relevant experience of prospecting would be useful especially for software, eg 1        years previous Sales / Inside Sales / Telesales experience

              • Perseverance

              • Personable

              • Rapport building

              • Willingness to learn

              • Eager to progress

              • Team player

              • Attention to detail

              • Good time management

              • Punctuality

              • An aptitude for picking up new things and coping with a wide variety of tasks and offerings.

              An understanding of software and how it is applied to a business. You do not need to be a technical guru, but some understanding of software and it’s applications is required.

 

Progression;

Full training and induction will be provided. The position offers scope to progress within the business to the roles including but not limited to sales consultant, implementer or Account Manager.
