Motor Claims Specialist required in Bradford, West Yorkshire
37.5 hours per week, currently Monday - Friday, shift pattern between 8.30am - 5.30pm.
Optional Saturday overtime available.
Salary, depending on experience, between £21-24,000 per annum + benefits to include Personal Pension Plan and Life Insurance, Cycle to Work scheme, Childcare vouchers, Holiday Buy Scheme, 25 days holiday + bank holidays
Dealing with claims and general telephone enquiries received from customers, dealerships and end users and providing a consistently superior customer experience at all times by meeting or exceeding our customer’s expectations. Using their expert technical knowledge to authorise claims and negotiate claims payments for mechanical breakdown, parts and labour rates, which can involve high values.
Skills / Experience Required:
NVQ Level 1, 2, or 3 or equivalent in Motor Vehicle Engineering/ Light Vehicle Maintenance
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal skills - build effective relationships, use initiative and tact
Effective problem solving skills
Excellent customer service skills/focus
Experience working in a FCA regulated environment
Previous customer service experience (a distinct advantage)
Experience dealing with customers from a diverse background
A full driving licence
A strong technical knowledge and understanding is required, so if you are level 1 or 2 qualified but with vast knowledge and experience, your application will still be considered.
