Joining them as Metered Data Management Administrator, you must ensure an accurate and complete set of data is available for billing purposes and that relevant settlement performance targets are met.
Raising and managing the resolution of data queries with agents and internal customers, you will validate Daily data and corresponding meter reads to ensure that sites are billed accurately and to identify incorrect volumes billed and reconcile data discrepancies on a regular basis. Analysing the daily failures following the upload of data into the billing system, you will review the relevant files to ensure that daily data has been received and processed on a daily basis and ensure that data for directly connected sites is processed in a timely manner.
The Metered Data Management Administrator will also manage the creation of Daily data files for upload into the billing system and for the resolution of assigned exceptions. You will provide daily management reports in preparation for the bill run and analyse and process data flows and reports that impact the volumes billed.
They are looking for an individual who is educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) at grade C or above in Maths and English and who has previous billing experience gained within the energy supply sector. With excellent organisational skills and a strong customer focus, you will be able to produce effective work within tight deadlines and have a practical approach to problem solving. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office and have an understanding of billing and validation processes.
