Medical Secretary

LOCATION: Leeds, West Yorkshire

SALARY & BENEFITS: £25,000 per annum 

WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Monday – Friday 35 hours per week – Flexible hours to suit

THE ROLE: The Medical Secretary role will be busy and varied. Your key responsibilities will be to provide administrative support in a variety of ways to support the busy orthopaedic consultant based in Leeds.

Key Responsibilities for the Medical Secretary to include:-

Answering telephone enquiries
Audio typing for all relevant referrals, reports and correspondence
Booking in patients for Clinic / Theatre
Invoicing
Dealing with professional sportsmen/sportswomen
Ad hoc Medical Legal work including running reports and liaising with Solicitor and other legal professionals.

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role. You will have an excellent telephone manner who can communicate with people at all levels. You will be enthusiastic in your approach to the working day ahead. 

Key experience essential for the Medical Secretary based in Leeds, West Yorkshire:

Will live within a commutable distance of Leeds
Expedience of audio typing / ability to touch type is essential
Any experience of invoicing will be highly desirable
Must have previous telephony experience
