Taggarts is one of the best-known names in the Scottish motor trade and we're proud to be part of the Lookers family, one of the largest motor retailers in the UK. Reporting to our Financial Controller and managing a small team you will work closely with the operations management teams of 2 dealerships to ensure central accounting standards are met and that the management accounts are prepared accurately and on time. You'll be expected to promote a right first time administration culture by building first class relationships across all functions and levels. You'll also add value by working with operational managers in identifying opportunities to grow the business, create efficiencies and produce cost savings.

About you

You will preferably have strong experience as an accountant from within the motor industry and have a track record of balancing attention to detail whilst focusing on strategic goals. You'll be a great relationship builder able to partner with operational managers, coaching and developing their financial awareness. This role will require some travel and does come with a company car so a full and valid UK driving licence is essential.
