SALARY &; BENEFITS: Band 11 (£38,052 - £41,846 p.a.)
WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week - Fixed term contract / secondment for 12 months

THE COMPANY: Our client is a locally-owned partnership between businesses and local authorities and
plays a central role in determining local economic priorities and undertaking activities to drive economic
growth and the creation of local jobs. They are currently seeking a Local Growth Project Manager to join their
team within Portsmouth.

Key Responsibilities for the Local Growth Project Manager role to include:-
 Managing the delivery and performance of projects
 Managing the delivery and performance of a designated portfolio of capital projects
 Being directly involved in the formulation of LEP policies and strategies linked to Local Growth and European Regional Development Fund programmes
 Working with a range of other organisations at local, regional and national level
 Organising, attending and providing advice to the LEP's Delivery Panels and Investment panels, including the preparation of reports
 Coordinating activities to attract and increase levels of high value jobs

THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Local Growth Project Manager you will have a flexible approach to
working and be able to interact and network with partners. You will have strong communicating, influencing
and negotiating skills with excellent inter-personal skills. You will need to live within a commutable distance
to Portsmouth.

Key experience essential for the role of Local Growth Project Manager :-
 Formal vocational or professional qualifications, such as NVQ level 4 or 5 equivalent or higher, and / or membership of a professional body
 Experience of developing effective and productive links
 Experience of regeneration, infrastructure and/or economic development and / or European programmes and projects, policies, strategies and objectives
