They are now looking for a Linen Room Supervisor to join their team where you will be based at the Salford Royal Hospital and will be responsible for the Linen Room Service. This is a permanent, full time position.
Within the role you will check the quantity and quality of clean laundered linen, issuing and distributing to wards and departments. Maintaining accurate records of all linen, you will liaise daily with the host laundry, wards and departments, Customer Relationship Manager and Contract Manager. You will also manage the linen room assistants, keeping records of all staff working hours, providing cover during periods of holidays and sickness.
They are looking for someone who has supervisory experience, coupled with excellent customer service skills. With a high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise, you will be a hands on leader who works well as part of a team. Above all, you will strive to deliver a good customer service.
The working hours for this role are 6:15am – 3pm Monday – Friday, with the occasional requirement to cover weekends when needed.
