Our client is an award-winning, full service, commercial law firm and they are rapidly developing a national reputation for its innovative approach to delivering legal services. They operate in the financial services, leisure, retail & consumer goods, technology & media, renewables, housing and public sectors. Their specialisms are real estate, banking and finance, commercial, corporate, employment, dispute resolution and litigation.

The Job:

We are delighted to be assisting our client for a Legal Secretary to join their Construction teamin central Bristol. Your role will include a full range of administration and secretarial duties including digital dictation, diary management and filing.

Main Responsibilities will include:

Filing and general administration duties such as scanning, photocopying, archiving and printing in large volumes.

Managing volume emails and Word documents both online and hard copies.

Reviewing incoming post.

Preparing correspondence and completing standard documents.

Invoicing, processing expense claims and time records.

Proactive diary management including booking of appointments, travel arrangements, meetings and conference calls.

Assisting fee earners in tasks such as preparation of seminars and other marketing events.

File management and implementing firm procedures for case administration.

Dealing with clients by phone, taking messages, answering queries and general calls.

The Person:

For this role our client is looking for someone with previous Legal Secretarial experience along with accuracy, sound organisational skills and flexibility are also required

Legal secretarial experience is essential

Strong IT systems skills are required with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience of Outlook for Emails and Diary Management.

Experience of Laserforms and Workshare would be an advantage.

Ideally we are looking for previous experience of document management systems although training will be given in Interwoven if it has not been used before.

Candidates should ideally be experienced with Copy & Audio typing (digital dictation)- 65wpm

The Benefits:

Contributory Pension, Group Life, Private Medical Insurance, 25 days holiday & a flexible benefits scheme.

The Hours:

Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, 35 hours per week

Central Bristol, no car parking.
