Description
My client within the Pharmaceutical industry is looking for a temporary Legal and Compliance Co-Ordinator.
Ideally you would have previously worked within the Pharmaceutical industry and have strong knowledge within this but its not essential.
| The role is to provide quality administrative support to the Legal & Compliance Department, company secretarial administration, and to assist in the coordination of department activities |
To produce confidentiality, speaker agreements, healthcare professional service agreements, joint working agreements and other ad-hoc documents as requested from contract templates.
To provide assistance with drafting, amending and producing documents, to include legal agreements, SOPs, letters, memos.
To ensure signed contracts are physically filed in accordance with internal archiving requirements.
To uploaded signed contracts onto the contract management system, and to ensure reminders are set for their review within the system.
Raising purchase orders for the department, checking invoices are correct and uploading onto the SAP system, and completing all necessary information for approval and payment by the correct cost centre.
To keep a record of department accruals, and generally tracking the budget and to provide a status report to the department head.
To update and improve the Legal and Compliance section of the Intranet.
To arrange meetings, produce agendas and take minutes for Legal and Compliance run meetings.
To provide general administrative support to the Legal and Compliance Department
To provide active support in raising the profile of the Legal and Compliance department and to promote a positive reputation for the department as a pro-active and commercial business partner.
To organise and attend the Legal and Compliance departmental meetings, to include booking meeting rooms, organising travel arrangements and hotels, drafting and circulating agenda, minutes and actions.
Organising and co-ordinate travel arrangements for the department.
Arranging meetings with internal personnel and external vendors to include diarising the same for the Head of Legal.
To organise the department team building and seasonal events, to include coming up with ideas for team building activities, and locations for the events. It may also include the need to negotiate on rates for large events and liaising with internal personnel and external vendors.
Co-ordinating functional resources including consumables and administrative equipment and supplies.
Additional responsibilities required.
