POSITION: LEAD GENERATION EXECUTIVE

SALARY: £25k OTE £30K- Fixed Term Contract: 31/3/2020

LOCATION: Edgbaston, Birmingham B15 3DH

DESCRIPTION:

Our clients are looking for a Lead Generation Executive with a proven track record in outbound prospecting and lead generation. Your ultimate responsibility will be to identify and grow new leads and deliver qualified leads to our team of International Trade Advisers.

You will be provided with product training and knowledge to enable you to be credible when discussing International Trade with prospective customers and to answer questions.

JOB ROLE

  • Building a pipeline of sales opportunities through active outbound prospecting and nurturing using targeted approaches.
  • Following up and qualifying warm leads, such as visitors to the company’s website, event attendees, in-bound enquiries, etc.
  • Performance analysis and coming up with ideas to improve effectiveness.
  • Working with the wider marketing team to identify activities that will drive demand and help with longer-term lead nurturing.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:-

  • Proven B2B telemarketing or telesales experience targeted at the mid-market (eg employers with 10+ employees/Turnover in excess of £1.5m).
  • Good understanding of lead generation and nurturing tactics.
  • Confidence to engage with and build relationships with senior decision makers.
  • Familiarity with online prospecting/marketing tools and approaches especially LinkedIn.
  • A ‘can do’, self-starter attitude and experience of implementing initiatives within a team or on an individual basis.
  • Outstanding communication and convincing skills.
  • Understanding of the International Trade environment (desirable but not essential).
  • A background in Business Support/Growth (desirable but not essential).

(This position will be part funded through the European Regional Development Fund Operational Programme for England 2014 - 20.)
