Junior Administrator (Financial Services) - Hoole, Chester

Salary: £16,000 - £23,000

An excellent opportunity for a Junior Administratorto join a friendly team in an established company based in Hoole, Chester. This company offers great future prospects and actively encourages and supports employees in their personal and professional development.

The Role

You will be working in a fast paced environment, reporting to the Office Manager and supporting the team with a range of administration duties. You will be required to give a high level of customer service to clients and ensure the office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. This role could suit a recent school/college leaver, Graduate or someone with a genuine interest in a career in Financial Services.

Key responsibilities

• Meeting and greeting visitors
• Answering incoming telephone calls and taking messages where appropriate
• Filing and keeping the front office and meeting rooms presentable and tidy
• Opening, recording and distributing incoming post, franking and posting outgoing mail
• Arranging appointments for Advisers and Directors
• Uploading client data to the back office system
• Monitoring and ordering stationery as required
• Dealing with policy enquiries and client documents
• Checking, recording and issuing contract notes and policy documents
• Ad hoc duties as and when required by the department

Essential requirements

• Strong academic background - minimum A Level or equivalent with Maths and English GCSEs grade A*-C
• Confident IT skills with MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
• Good attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and take on ad hoc tasks as and when required
• Previous experience in administration or working in an office environment is desirable but may not be essential
