Elevation Recruitment Group Accountancy & Finance are working with an amazing business in Hull as they look to appoint an ambitious and driven Finance Assistant, to work closely with a highly commercial Finance Manager, for an interim period of approx. 10 months.
Working with the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role, providing high quality financial management across the department, as well as the wider group.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:
-Assist with the preparation of weekly production variances report for the Finance Manager
-Assist the preparation for the monthly reporting of fixed costs
-Prepare manual journals for review and process journals in SAP as part of the month end process
-Assist the control, recording, documentation and compliance with the requirements of SOX
-Assist the preparation of responsible balance sheet accounts verification for review by the Finance Manager each month
-Assist in the maintenance of the records for capital expenditure proposals and recording in the fixed asset register
-Involvement in financial projects (as necessary)
Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak to applicants with the following:
-Computer Literate (Intermediate Excel skills essential)
-Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system
-Experience in a fast-paced finance environment (manufacturing is advantageous)
-Positive / personable attitude at all times
