An opportunity has arisen for an Income Team Leader to join their team based in Enfield to be responsible for ensuring that maximum rental income is collected, striking a balance between early intervention and recovery action of debts owed.

 

Reporting to the Head of Income you will lead a team in the delivery of a proactive Income Collection Service which reduces the risk of tenancy failure through timely intervention and support. You will focus on creating and maintaining a customer focused high-performance driven culture within the team.

 

In addition, the post holders will provide welfare advice and work closely with external agencies as well as our tenants.

 

Candidates for this position will hold experience in debt collection, will be able to lead, motivate and inspire the team to deliver business targets and personal objectives. In addition, you will have full responsibility for line managing a designated number of Income Officers and the ability to work on your own initiative whilst promoting team working.

 

You will need to be able to develop individuals through coaching have an experience of managing change and the ability to deliver change, have an experience of working with colleagues and customers to influence positive changes to services. You will be responsible for accurate reports and statistics and will need to ensure that any comments or complaints from residents or outside agencies are dealt with promptly and effectively and in line with our policies. You will also need to ensure that the management of the service is responsive to the needs and demands of our residents.
