Position: ICT project Officer Division: Housing & Regeneration Job Purpose: Lead and contribute to a programme of ICT service improvement projects supporting core EBS Strategies and objectives linked to SfC and CEC IT strategies, focusing on organisational efficiency and improved customer services. To deliver effective and efficient first and second line ICT Technical support function to EBS. Major task activities: Managing and participating in ICT and business change First and Second line technical support, development and maintenance of core ICT systems Contribute to the ongoing development of EBS ICT strategy, service improvement plan and performance management information. Data management and retrieval from multiple sources Analysing and recommending improvement to business processes, systems and applications. Key skills and knowledge My client is currently looking for a successful candidate who has knowledge of housing management , repairs scheduling, costing and integrated mobile technological solutions. Prince II, LEAN management, systems methodologies such as Sigma Six, SQL and database development are desirable. The successful candidate must have particular expertise and have demonstrated competences with experience in delivering a wide range of service improvement projects resulting in organisational efficiency, cultural change and improved customer experience. Experience in a large, complex organisation or local government environment and a sound understanding of priorities and challenges facing local government. Ability to under take critical analysis of business process and systems to underpin service improvement activities. Experience of providing a high level of IT support to a diverse service area in order to meet customer requirements. Highly organised with strong administration skills and the ability to present information clearly. Demonstrate a positive, customer-focused attitude with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
