We have a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring hospitality professional to be part of a career boosting Development Programme in the role of Hotel Management Trainee in across England.
Our client develops talent for their member hotels and their Programmes are designed to enhance knowledge and provide trainees with good all-round operational experience whilst giving exposure to various types of hotel environment.
All trainees complete a two-year Management Development Programme that is endorsed by the Institute of Hospitality. Trainees work across four member hotels spending approximately six months in each and gain valuable experience in all areas of hotel operations.
The organisation has been developing young people for 50 years with many alumni holding senior industry positions, including the current Hotelier of the year.
The Hotels cover the full spectrum of the industry from country house to resort to corporate venues and are mainly of a four star standard with award winning restaurants.
What to expect from the role of Hotel Management Trainee
• The Hotel Management Development Programme is for 2 years and has 4 operational placements of 6 months, each in a different hotel.
• You will be fully employed in each hotel as a member of staff within allocated department.
• Operational areas covered – Restaurant, Bar, Reception, Events.
• Structured development programme in each area, endorsed by the Institute of Hospitality.
• Leads to a supervisory/management position with 80% of graduates securing employment in one of the member Hotels.
To be successful for the role of Hotel Management Trainee, you must have a passion for hospitality and be a driven, focused and positive person with a good work ethic.
This role would suit recently graduated college students with a level 2 or 3 in a hospitality or travel and tourism related qualification.
As a Hotel Management Trainee, you will be fully supported throughout the programme to ensure success. The salary is minimum wage and you will also receive overtime and tips. The company will provide all live in accommodation and food.
