My client is a world-leading training provider; delivering a wide range of Apprenticeships, work-based, technical and specialised training programmes- helping to educate more than 100 million people in 60 countries worldwide. Due to expansion we are now seeking a Head of Sales to lead the UK sales team and drive the business forward. This is a hands-on role. You will lead teams of field and office based account managers, targeting, mentoring and supporting them in closing deals. You will also have your own personal sales targets to meet and key accounts to manage. This is a role where you will lead by example, motivating your team by demonstrating personal success. In order to succeed in this role you should: Have a track record of success in field sales and be able to demonstrate achievement against both personal and team targets. Have experience of the work based learning/vocational training sector. Demonstrate an understanding of Government Funding. Have experience of building a successful sales team and be a leader rather than a manager. Excellent communication skills. Be happy to travel extensively. This is a national role, so you can be home based, but will need to spend at least one day per week in the East Midlands office.
