Group Management Assistant – Competitive Salary – Forfar, Angus

The Role

A. M. Phillip Trucktech Ltd is recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic Group Management Assistant to join a close-knit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising the administrative and clerical duties of the Group, taking on a wide range of responsibilities in the process. The key responsibilities of a Group Management Assistant include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining various spreadsheets for company operation
  • Organising travel arrangements for staff training
  • Attending meetings for minute taking, following up on action plans and reporting to the MD
  • Managing training register and organising courses as required
  • Running month-end and year-end reports and file as required
  • Assisting in the administration of company accounts system
  • Performing various admin duties at MD’s requirements

The key skills and qualities of a Group Management Assistant:

  • Computer literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Trustworthy and discreet, able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, able to handle multiple workflows and responsibilities whilst paying outstanding attention to detail
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to occasionally travel and work extended hours

Experience of accounts and/or someone who has worked within the automotive industry is an advantage.
