THE COMPANY: Based in Ampthill, Bedford is an established dynamic company involved in the commercial interiors market with a turnover in excess of £18m. They are currently looking for an Accounting Administrator to join them at their head office.
THE ROLE: The role of the Group Accounting Administrator is a role that offers variety and a challenge. You will work within the accounts department where your duties will include processing sub- contractor payments, maintaining sub-contractor records , a small employed fitters payroll , reconciliations and petty cash. Another aspect of the role is the dealing with incoming queries to the business. As this is a small to medium business you work within a team with a real team ethic. You will offer support to colleagues within the team when required. The working hours for the role are 24 hours per week. This would preferably be over a Monday , Wednesday and Friday although this is not essential and can be flexible for the right candidate.
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Group Accounting Administrator role will need to have some previous accounting based experience. Any experience in administration would be highly advantageous but is not essential. You will be highly motivated and have strong communication skills. It is essential that you have the ability to work to tight deadlines and are a real team player.
