Our client is the world's largest and most influential professional body for construction management and leadership and their workforce are key to their continued success.
Sitting at the centre of the Institute, this very varied role will see you being responsible for providing an efficient administrative support service to the Chief Executive, Managing Director, President and Officers, together with carrying out a broad range of tasks for the Governance team.
Your activities will include diary, travel and expense management, organising a variety of key events from lunches, regional tours and overseas visits to being a point of contact for their Past Presidents.
Additionally, as Governance Administrator, you will also manage all aspects of the meeting process for a number of Board and Committee meetings which will include arranging/collating papers, minute taking and distribution and any other administration required. You will also be a key team member when planning and arranging their annual conference.
This is by no means everything you will find yourself getting involved in, but hopefully gives you an idea of the exciting opportunity that awaits.
To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, strong on multi-tasking and be able to prioritise effectively, have a meticulous attention to detail with demonstrable administrative experience. The ability to work confidentially is key as will be the ability to work both as part of a team and independently. You will be confident in communicating at all levels of the organisation and be able to build strong and credible working relationships. As this is an extremely busy role, the ability to work under pressure with a good sense of humour is essential. You will also be comfortable with using Microsoft office.
