Kennedys Finance department are seeking a Financial Operations Database Administrator to be based within the Chelmsford office.

Principal duties include:

  • To be primarily responsible for new business intake activities for all national and international office serviced from the UK.
  • To work as part of the Financial Operations Database team ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance within the firm's financial system.
  • Financial Operations Database Administrator responsibilities:
  • Undertaking conflict searches via the firm's financial system and via other manual or automated procedures as required by the Professional Practice department
  • Regular monitoring of matters with incomplete billing details and taking remedial actions as required by the Revenue teams
  • Identifying potential non-compliance with the firm's policies and procedures for new clients/matters, and reporting back to the initiator and/or the Risk and Compliance department as appropriate
  • Processing matter transfers and updating matter details (work types, billing details, etc) as required by fee earners, secretaries and the Financial Operations teams
  • Own compliance reporting (including matter conflicts) and follow-up
  • Maintaining system charge rates in accordance with client service level agreements
  • Assisting the Financial Operations Analysts with ad-hoc matter management projects, to maximise the level of service and efficiency provided by the teams
