Financial Controller - Godmanchester
Salary - £80k plus 15% Bonus, Healthcare, Dental Care, Life Assurance, pension ( Higher salary may be Negotiable for the right candidate)

Our client has an interest in a huge range of novel technologies and actively works with partners to develop the potential for these technologies into marketable solutions.
Our client require are Financial Controller to join their team to manage the outsourced Finance function to ensure all duties are completed promptly and accurately in order that the company accounting records are maintained satisfactorily to enable internal and external financial and taxation reporting requirements to be met.
The successful post holder will maintain a strong internal control environment for the Finance function and the wider business to ensure compliance with all financial regulatory and reporting requirements.
Educated to degree level and ACA or equivalent qualified.
Initial training as an accountant either with a major audit firm or major “blue chip” company. Significant post qualification work experience in a senior accounting role.
Proven track record of outstanding technical competence, with experience of IFRS, successful audits, management of all company taxes. Ideally you will have experience of Research and Development Expenditure credits and transfer pricing.
Experience within an organisation at the forefront of good finance practice and experience in a company renowned for its advanced systems and accounting standards.
Strong intellect and good analytical skills combined with a commercial outlook.
A persuasive manner and the maturity required to work effectively alongside senior management.
Energetic, highly motivated and self-confident.
Proactive, business focused and results driven.
First class verbal and written presentation skills.
Strong planning and organisation skill.
Clear decision-making process.
Excellent IT skills, in particular advanced competency in Excel.
Knowledge of Sun Systems and Infor Query and Analysis would be advantageous.
