The Company

Our client is a leading international provider of scientific and technical services, regulatory advice, sustainability service and training to industry in the field of chemical management and risk assessment. Our client provides registration/ notification services and global regulatory compliance and chemical management support for numerous clients in markets around the globe.

The Role

Our client is looking to recruit a Financial Business Partner to join our consultancy group on a permanent basis. The recruit will report directly to the CFO and will play a key role in managing the financial performance of our client's business units. The recruit will also be responsible for certain aspects of operational entities like management reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, budgeting, and forecasting. For maximum performance in this role, work experience in a global consultancy environment would be beneficial.

Role Responsibilities:

The role responsibilities of this position are:

• Relationship building with key internal stakeholders.
• Timely provision of accurate financial information and reporting.
• Provision of astute inputs to cost, margins, and profitability modelling and analysis.
• Preparation and management of the annual budget and rolling forecasts in collaboration with business units.
• Development of controls and procedures to support all round efficiency and optimum performance.


Essential Skills & Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or a candidate with proven industry experience and strong technical skills and excellent commercial acumen.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a team player.
• Good stakeholder management skills - service oriented
• Experience working with and /or supporting the implementation of accounting software (Sage, Xero or similar products) and ERP system (SAP, FinancialForce, NetSuite, or similar cloud-based products).
