This Property Group are a vibrant and energetic organisation operating throughout the country. Consisting of multiple businesses, this well-established property group specialises in Residential and Student Block, Estate, and Asset Management.

They are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Finance Manager to be based at their head office in Altrincham on a fixed term contract until September 2022.

This position will initially be required to work on the ongoing system implementation projects, assisting with embedding processes within the accounts teams of their Lettings and Estates Groups.

After 3 months responsibilities will be
- Managing/coordinating responsibilities within the accounts team
- Frequently reviewing the businesses requirements
- Working with the directors & executive management to ensure cohesion with the overall operation
- Management accounts preparation with frequent reporting to the directors on the business performance
- Year-end accounts production to send to external accountants and handle any queries raised
- Handling leaseholder queries & working with solicitors to resolve disputes
- Overseeing the work of the team checking reconciliations & payroll

Duties continued
- Manage banking relationships & client money compliance
- Processing & checking supplier payment runs
- Weekly cashflow forecasting & reporting
- Liaising & reporting to external accountants
- Responsible for all VAT, HRMC & legislative duties are upkept

Key Characteristics
- Previous experience working as an Accountant within the property sector/working within a growing SME (not essential)
- Good systems experience (experience using QubePM beneficial)
- Qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Experience of training & developing people
