Finance Assistant – Maternity Cover post for 12-15 months 
Salary: £16,500 - £18,000 per annum 
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team. The role will involve developing systems to maintain contracts including invoicing and debt recovery for our growing Portland Freedom provision.  Regular administrative tasks include data input, general admin duties, creation and upkeep of excel spreadsheets and sales ledger maintenance, so an eye for detail is essential to succeed in the role. 

You will need to be well-organised, used to high volume accurate data entry, confident and motivated, with great attention to detail. Being happy in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, and being able to work as part of a team is essential. 

You will have experience of working within a finance environment. Be familiar with at least one accounting system, you will have proven organisational and credit control skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.

Possessing an excellent customer service outlook together with verbal and written communication skills, you will have a good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, with an aptitude for learning and developing new systems.
