Part time: 21 hours per week

About the role

This role is part of the Income Team within Financial Services and its main purpose is to ensure that the organisation is receiving all of the income due to the organisation with a focus on The Folk Hall, regular cover at Hartrigg Oaks, and to support other sites as required.

You will be required to process income transactions, raise sales invoices and credits, co-ordinate journals and complete reconciliations for the Folk Hall, and other care/housing facilities relating to income. To provide banking and cash handling oversight and administration at The Folk Hall or across sites as required.

You will liaise with staff to train on correct processes such as cash handling, invoicing and billing processes including the audit of those processes and verify information provided. There will be some contact with customers, residents and their families to resolve credit control issues.  The post will also provide cover support to set up care tenancies on Open Housing and manage arrears.

About you

You will be numerate, have a high degree of accuracy and understand and be able to interpret financial data. At least one years’ experience of working in a finance related role supporting the operation of person-centred services, for example care or housing environments. Communication skills are paramount as you will be dealing with a wide range of both internal and external customers. Proficient use of financial based computer systems and excel is also required. You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines and to multi-task and have the flexibility to work from different sites.
