Our Client is a rapidly growing organisation, consisting of schools located throughout Yorkshire and the Humber.
They now have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Clerical Assistant to work in their central services team, located in Osbaldwick, York. This is a permanent, full time position.
Within the role you will work alongside senior colleagues and will complete a variety of transactional functions; processing purchase invoices and ensuring accurate accounting and timely payment, you will also process and review staff expenses, create payment runs for the approval of colleagues and will oversee, with the Finance Manager, the procure-to-pay process which includes monitoring purchase orders, goods received notes and invoice approvals.
They are looking for someone who has experience of working in a busy office setting, coupled with good customer service skills. With a good general level of education (to GCSE or Level 2) you will be a confident computer user, particularly with Excel. The successful candidate will also have experience in the process of routine transactions such as invoices.
