Are you ideally an IMMEDIATELY available FINANCE ASSISTANT with experience of commercial on-line banking, Sage 200 ideally, AAT ( part or fully qualified) and Credit Control experience. You should have a sharp financial mind able to work quickly, diligently, and with an eye for detail.

A self-starter, highly efficient and resilient with the ability to work well under pressure and take full responsibility for your work. Our client needs a reliable candidate who can operate with complete discretion and professionalism at all times. Whilst being able to work on your own initiative within a dynamic and fast moving team. Initially this role will be working from home but as the situation changes you will be required to work in the office.

The business is under immense pressure due to COVID19 and its commitment to its customers, therefore this is an immediate urgent permanent vacancy.

The key responsibilities for the successful Finance Assistant include:

  • Day to day running of the Sales Ledger, Banking and credit control including invoice processing and debt chasing.
  • Manage all aspects of credit control.
  • Purchase ledger - posting invoices, payments and managing the ledger.
  • Posting and reconciling bank accounts and petty cash.
  • Checking and posting credit card statement.
  • Checking and posting employee expenses.
  • Provide full Accounts functions backup during absences.
  • Occasional purchasing and hotel booking support for other departments.
  • Any Ad hoc requirements to support the team.
  • Work with the team for continuous improvements to help drive the business forward.

Essential experience and skills required:

  • Must be able to demonstrate wide ranging accounts experience (min 5 years).
  • AAT qualifications an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience of Sage Line 200.
  • Skills in - Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well presented and organised with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Positive and flexible \"can do\" attitude, personable & very proactive.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a exceptionally fast paced and exciting environment
  • Excellent Computer and advanced Excel experience
  • Team player
