If you are a financial wiz with a passionate about regeneration within local economy communities and have solid experience of working with investors and small to medium size businesses this could be the role for you.

Our client is one of the leading providers of specialist business support across the South East providing a single point of contact for business advice, networking, training, and finance opportunities. They are recruiting a Finance Network Facilitator to work on a new contract aimed at raising awareness among East Sussex businesses of potential financial resources / opportunities available and to facilitate to them to engage with potential investors (both traditional and alternative) and support organisations.

The successful candidate will have:

Degree in finance or economics related discipline or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience of financing models, developments and investment
Ability to advise potential financers/investors correctly on options for investing and supporting them to create networks/platforms.
Understanding the relevant local and national financing landscape and related support services
Solid experience of how business finance works and how to access it
Networking skills with experience of effectively working with a wide range of businesses and stakeholders in the private- and public-sectors
Ability to rapidly develop trust and credibility with businesses
Ability to demonstrate tact, diplomacy and empathy
Adaptable to change and to work flexibly
Ability to assimilate new information
Ability to work within a team and on own initiative as is a self-starter
Ability and flexibility to travel within the county and more widely to ensure the delivery of outcomes is an essential of this role NB use of suitable vehicle is essential for the role
