Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking a personable and enthusiastic Finance Administrator for an innovative business based in Goole; this role is working from home on a full time, permanent basis!

Working within a small, friendly team, you will be instrumental in providing effective support for the finance department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who is looking for a varied challenge within a faced paced, supportive environment where you will be encouraged to learn and develop.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Agree monthly branch profits for all operating systems
* Produce financial reports using various systems
* Reconcile Lotus Notes based operating system to Oracle
* Maintain exchange rates within operating systems
* Ad hoc queries/reports, covering profitability, accruals
* Account reconciliation
* Ensure that the branch job accounting teams are compliant with current VAT rules
* Accruals analysis (both gross profit and SG&A)
* Posting insurance premiums, analysis of insurance revenues & compiling insurance incentives
* Assist in preparation of VAT returns
* Support the annual audit process
* Support the annual budget process

To be successful you MUST have the following skills and attributes:

* AAT part-qualified
* Strong Excel skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Team player
* Problem solving skills
* Self motivated
* Ability to work under pressure
* Strong 'team' player
* 'Can Do' attitude
