Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of a well-established growing business in the Goole area.
This is a contract role for 12 months to cover a period of Maternity leave.
You will be working as part of a successful and friendly Finance team, processing a high volume of invoices, from matching, through to payment, as well as additional accounts duties.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Agree monthly branch profits for all operating systems
-Support the implementation of a new system
-Produce financial reports using various systems
-Post manual invoices & reconcile Lotus Notes based operating system to Oracle (our financial reporting system)
-Maintain exchange rates within operating systems
-Ad hoc queries/reports for branches, covering profitability, accruals
-Ensure that the branch accounting teams are compliant with current VAT rules, querying any instances where they have made a change to the automatic VAT treatment as defined by the operating system
-Posting insurance premiums, analysis of insurance revenues and compiling insurance incentives
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Good Attention to detail
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Good MS Excel skills
- Processing a large volume of data
