Badoo is seeking an energetic, committed and super organised Facilities Manager to help make our London HQ an amazing workplace for our growing team. This person will take a key role in maintaining our status as one of the best workplaces in London, and constantly strive for ‘bigger and better’. The ideal candidate has impeccable standards, is polished and well presented; calm, resilient, and able to think on their feet.


*Motivate and manage our Housekeeping team to complete essential office duties, including but not limited to: ordering of food and drink supplies; catering setup for regular meal times; general upkeep of the office throughout the day; and ensuring meeting rooms are tidy, safe and ready for all users

*Monitor the condition of office fittings and fixtures, reporting faults to building managers/landlords as required

*Oversee First Aid and Fire Marshall requirements - organise trainings and maintain associated stock

*Review and update Health & Safety policies and ensure they are observed

*Negotiate contracts with external service providers, and be the primary point of contact for the execution of office maintenance

*Work closely with IT Support Engineers to ensure workspaces are always fully functional from an IT perspective

*Liaise with HR to maintain an accurate seating plan and accommodate new joiners

*Provide weekly reports; and own budgetary and forecasting processes

*Financial administration: process company expenses, raise purchase orders, reconcile company credit/debit cards

*Respond to queries from staff and act as a general support to all Badoo employees

*Own and deliver on ad-hoc projects as agreed with manager


*Experience managing facilities for a fast-paced media/tech company

*Existing contacts and strong relationships with a range of office maintenance providers

*Strong understanding of reporting and budgetary control

*Capacity to deal with a wide variety of different tasks, and come up with innovative solutions to challenges

*Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

*Proficiency with systems: finance administration, Google and Microsoft suites, Macs desirable

*Well organised and proactive

*Calm under pressure, able to prioritise and meet deadlines

*Approachable and willing to go the extra mile
