The Company

An Export Sales Assistant is required for our client based in Corby. This is for a 6-month contract but there is potential that it may extend. The start date for this role will be July 2018.

The Role

  • Accurate and timely processing of ex-works customer purchase orders and requests
  • Administration for customer orders to be progressed, ensuring timely delivery of products according to customer specifications and timescales
  • Arranging timely labelling and dispatch of all customer, salesman's and show samples and brochures, in order to meet deadlines
  • Liaison with marketing department
  • Preparation for customer appointments, overseas visits, trade shows and events
  • Maintaining efficient and up to date filing systems
  • Accurate data entry of customer lead sheets
  • Attending customer meetings
  • To maintain up to date knowledge of current company products and new product lines

The Ideal Candidate

  • Good communication skills and telephone manner, confident and friendly
  • Customer focused approach and ideally experience dealing with customer enquiries
  • Office or administration experience
  • Good IT skills - Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook etc.

The Package

  • Mon - Fri: 9am - 5pm and 30 minutes for lunch (37.5 hours a week)
  • Free parking
  • Holidays - 25 days + 8 bank holidays
  • 3% contributory pension
